I am a PhD Candidate in the Population Biology Graduate Group and co-advised by Rachael Bay and Eric Sanford. My research examines the eco-evolutionary consequences of the poleward range shift of the owl limpet (Lottia gigantea). My work combines field surveys, laboratory experiments, and genomics to understand how selection pressures differ across the range with respect to life history traits. More broadly, I am interested in how spatial and temporal genetic variation interacts with the environment for adaptive and/or range-shift potential. Beyond my research, I am passionate about increasing access to research and graduate school through mentorship. In my free time I enjoy baking, reading, ice skating, and making elaborate tea services for loved ones.
